Considering that junk mail pays his salary and keeps the USPS afloat - he should be in deep doo-doo. I don't mind the extra catalogs and such - easy enough to recycle. Only thing I mind is clearly untargeted and poorly done mail like the Geico "Dear car owner" letter I got yesterday.
I get buckshot junk mail all the time. Things that I would never own. And would doubly never own because they've cluttered up my mail box. I receive targeted stuff all the time from companies I've purchased from and every charity and performing arts company in the DFW area. That's cool. But when I get stuff from places simply because I exist? Not cool. The fact that his customers never filed a complaint shows just how numbed we've become to the "Dear Resident" kind of mail.
