And speaking of the breastesses, and by the way, Project Runway spoiler, avert your eyes if you've got last night's burning a hole in your Tivo, what the flippety-flop was up with Jerrell's bridal dress? Great googley moogley. Diamond encrusted, crinkle taffetta boob wings? That's like asking Michael Kors to clown you on national television. And you know that Heidi Klum has serious issues with fit problems in the chest. How many times has she wanted to pull a dress up so that a model's tatas were in the right place? Not well played, Jerrell.
And frankly, as someone whose cups have never run over, I have occassionally used the well placed gather, ruffle or ruche as camouflage. But even I would never wear a bridal dress that looked like I was an awning offering shade to passing ringbearers and flower girls. Actually, I'd never wear a bridal dress, period. But that's besides the point. No boob flaps! No boob flaps, ever!
Add in a hat that looked like "Oh, no! I forgot my veil! That's okay. I'll just wear one of the centerpieces" and you knew Jer-Jer was going to get Auffed off the runway like a bottle rocket. Too bad. I liked his style. But I'm afraid the full collection was his downfall. Alas. Okay, I'm over it. Now on to the all-girl finale!

You know it killed me that Kenley's wedding dress was so great - all the show I was like "damn damn damn" - her collection sucked but she does one great dress - then when Kors said it was a McQueen (my fave designer) knock-off the light clicked on -- I know Kenley is too stuborn.proud to actually copy anyone - but one wonders if she did not do it subsconsciously.
I loved when Terrell snapped on Kors "plain white Ts" in the post interview.
That t-shirt zinger had me ROLLING. Jerrell definitely goes into the vanguard of PR personalities for that one.
I didn't think Kenley had plagarized either. You know that thing in biology where two different genetically unrelated species will grow in two different parts of the world, but because they have similar environments, they will evolve to look the same? There's some scientific term for it. I think that's what happened with Kenley. Everybody is saying that the runway this year is influenced by the styles on Mad Men. Which is exactly the period that Kenley draws on. Happens to the best of them. Or Kenley.
I also was hoping that Kenley was going. But I loved her wedding dress best, and I knew she would not go home. I really liked Leanne's bridesmaid dress too. And I loved the colors in Leanne's and Korto's collections. I did not like Jerrel's.
I think I like Leanne's the best. Though Kenely's was ultra-fab, there was something very cutting edge about Leanne's. And elegant and cutting edge is damn hard to pull off.
